ABOUT THE ARTIST

Marie-Florence Gros has a PhD in 18th- Century French Literature (Paris Sorbonne) and an MBA from the HEC Paris Business School.

She was first recognized as a lyricist. Meeting the french singer Patrick Bruel in 1998, they collaborated on many albums as "Lequel de nous" in 2012, Juste avant, Entre-deux, Des souvenirs devant. She also participated to many songs' lyrics for francophone artists as Isabelle Boulay, Magalie Vaé or Donoré.

In 2010, she found success as author with her first book “Tout contre” published by the editor Eloïse d'Ormesson.

With a very sharp and artistic vision, she collaborates on different projects associating texts and visual art such as photography (exhibition Paris/New York, Grandes Lignes with the photographs of Cyril Delettre) or short movies.

 

Marie-Florence Gros wrote Exécution, a 25mn short movie produced by Cyril Delettre about the death sentence. 

Following the work with Cyril Delettre for the exhibition "Paris/New York, Grandes Lignes", she exhibited with Cyril Delettre, in October 2012, a mixed collection with photographs and text.
